Hi everybody. I.m in the UK and have just acquired an OssaC2 125. Frame number 37761.1960 -63 I am a hobby fixer and this is my first experience with a bike of this type . The Ossa is well enough known over here as a trails off road bike of some merit but the road bikes are not known . Our vehicle register shows there are currently none on our roads. My C2 has been parked in a garage for many years and was probably last used in Spain in 1975(municipal tax label). I have number of issues to resolve. Main problem is that I need to replace the ignition rotor. 4455 VAR 32-7. I see that you have discussed puller but is there a direct replacement. Mine is damaged and I need a new on. There will be mor questions. I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish and hope "translate " does the job . Regards . Pete

Wellcome, Pete. If I'm not wrong, VAR is part of a Femsa flywheel name, isn't it?

There are some Spanish sellers with an extensive knowledge of the Ossa road bikes. Maybe at www.vitale.es they'll be able to help you ... with Google Translate's help, of course.

Hello to all . Yes manufactured by Femsa Madrid. Are they still in production . I am researching either a straight replacement or update to electronic. . Thank you for your replies

Femsa quit production a long time ago, Pete. There's no way to find a new unit to replace yours. I think the best way to go is getting in touch with Ossa Vitale or Jesús Colmenero.
Regarding to electronic options, in the spanish market there are conversion kits for your flywheel, but if yours isn't working properly, they wont be of help.

I think I may have found a replacement but I will not know if it works until it's fitted. End of march i think. If it works I will let you know. The current one is damaged and will need some engineering to fix. Expensive I'm told
